Bước 1: Bật registry editor.

Bước 2: Truy cập theo đường dẫn registry subkey như sau: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber
Bước 3: Click Edit > Modify, sau đó chọn Decimal.
Bước 4: Điền thông số port mới vào và click OK.
Bước 5: Đóng registry editor và khởi động lại máy tính.
Lần tới khi bạn kết nối với máy tính này bằng kết nối Remote Desktop, bạn phải nhập cổng mới thì mới có thể kết nối. Nếu bạn đang sử dụng tường lửa, hãy cấu hình tường lửa của bạn để cho phép kết nối với thông số port mới để Remote Desktop có thể hoạt động.
